In July 2018,  Tencent  on behalf of  Riot Games  won a lawsuit in Shanghai against Moonton  CEO  Watson Xu Zhenhua for  Mobile Legends '   plagiarism  of  League of Legends , and was awarded a settlement of $2.9 million.
